Intent 1:

To exempt certain combustible materials from the application of Sentence 3.1.5.1.(1), on the basis that they are deemed to insignificantly contribute to fire growth and spread.

Intent 2:

To direct Code users to Subsection 3.1.15., which describes the standard methods of fire tests for the determination of roof covering classifications.
