Intent 1:
To exclude rooftop enclosures from the application
of Sentence 3.4.2.1.(1), which would otherwise require direct
access to exits at the roof level, on the basis that:
- the rooftop enclosures will have a limited number of
occupants who will occupy the space for limited periods for the purpose
of servicing and maintaining equipment within the enclosure, and
- the means of egress from the rooftop complies with Sentences 3.3.1.3.(5) and (6).
Intent 2:
To direct Code users to Sentences 3.3.1.3.(5) and (6).
