To exempt floor assemblies that are immediately below service rooms from the fire-resistance rating requirements in Subsection 9.10.10. [specifically Sentences 9.10.10.3.(1), 9.10.10.4.(1) and 9.10.10.5.(1)], on the basis that the condition being guarded against is a fire originating in the service room and that floor assemblies are only rated for fire originating below them.
