To exempt combustible projections from certain buildings or detached garages from the application of Sentence 9.10.15.5.(5), if certain conditions are met, on the basis that fire spread from the subject building to an adjacent building during the time required for emergency responders to perform their duties is less likely to result in serious damage to the adjacent building.
