To limit the probability that displacement of dust into the atmosphere of a building will lead to an ignitable or hazardous accumulation of dust, which could lead to a fire or explosion in the presence of an ignition source, which could lead to harm to persons.

Intent 3:

To limit the probability that combustible materials in the dust collecting system will increase the combustible loading or contribute to the spread of fire, which could lead to harm to persons.
