Intent 1:

To limit the probability that deficiencies in the vestibule doors will go unnoticed, which could lead to such doors not closing as originally intended in a fire situation, which could lead to the migration of smoke to other parts of the building, which could lead to:

• delays or inefficiencies in emergency suppression operations, which could lead to the spread of fire, which could lead to damage to the building, and
• damage to the building.
