Application | Application 1: Combustible insulation,
including foamed plastics, installed above roof decks, outside of foundation walls
below ground level and beneath concrete slabs-on-ground, in buildings described
in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A that are required to be of noncombustible construction. Application 2: This also applies to buildings to
which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application
of Part 9] that are required to be of noncombustible
construction, as stated in Sentence 9.10.6.1.(1).
