Application | Application 1: Fixed wired glass assemblies or glass block, installed
in conformance with NFPA 80, “Fire Doors and Fire Windows,” used
for the protection of openings in fire separations having
a fire-resistance rating not more than 1
h.
Exceptions:
except as stated in Articles 3.1.8.16. and 3.1.8.17. for the separation of exits.
This applies to buildings described
in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A.

Intent | Intent 1: To exempt certain wired glass and glass block assemblies

met, on the basis that they provide an acceptable level of protection against
