Application 1: 
Minimum fire-resistance rating of floor or roof assembly projections referred to in Clause 3.2.1.2.(2)(b), in basements used primarily as storage garages, where the exterior wall of the basement is permitted to be penetrated by openings that are not protected by closures.
This applies to basements permitted to be considered as a separate building in Sentence 3.2.1.2.(1), in buildings described in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A.
