Application
Application 1:

This applies to buildings described in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A.

Intent
Intent 1:
To exempt open-air stories from the application of Sentence 3.2.1.5.(1), which would otherwise require the storey to be sprinklered or subdivided into fire compartments, on the basis that this situation does not pose an undue fire safety risk because heat and products of combustion from a fire can be dissipated.
