| Application | Application 1: Fire alarm and design, installation and construction
requirements for an automatic sprinkler system required to be installed by
one or more of Articles 3.2.2.20. to 3.2.2.83. This applies to buildings to
which Part 3 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A for application
of Part 3].
Exceptions:
except as exempted in Sentence 3.2.2.18.(2) and more specifically
its Appendix Note, which applies to a building whose
upper storeys are not required to be sprinklered.
