Intent | Intent 1: To limit the probability that emergency responders will
not be promptly notified of a fire situation, which could lead to delays in
carrying out fire emergency response operations, which could lead to the spread
of fire, which could lead to damage to the building. Intent 2: To state the application of Sentence 3.2.4.7.(4) for
requirements pertaining to the means of signalling fire departments.
