This applies to buildings described in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A.

Intent
Intent 1: 
To limit the probability that heat from recessed lighting fixtures will build up and ignite combustible insulation or other nearby combustible materials, which could lead to the start and spread of fire, which could lead to harm to persons.
