This applies to buildings described in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A.

Intent
Intent 1: 
To limit the probability of delays in the evacuation or movement of persons to a safe place if a doorway becomes inaccessible to the occupants due to a fire that originated in the room or suite, which could lead to harm to persons.
