Intent
Intent 1: 
To exempt sliding doors in certain types of occupancies from the application of Sentence 3.3.1.12.(1) and Article 3.3.1.11., which would otherwise require the doors to swing on a vertical axis in the direction of travel, on the basis that there is constant supervision, the building is sprinklered and other safety measures addressing the operation of locking devices are provided.
