Application | Application 1: Obstructions, in any occupancy,
that would restrict the width of a normal means of egress from
any part of a floor area to less than 750
mm.
Exceptions:
except where an alternative means of egress is
provided adjacent to, and accessible and plainly visible from, the obstructed means of egress.
This applies to buildings described
in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A.
Application 2: This also applies to tents and air-supported
structures, as stated in Sentences 3.1.6.1.(1) and 9.10.1.2.(1).
Exceptions:
except as stated in Sentence 3.8.1.3.(1), which applies to barrier-free design in buildings described
in Sentence 3.8.1.1.(1).
