Intent
Intent 1:
To exempt a roof-top appliance from the requirements of Sentences 3.6.2.1.(1) and (7), which would otherwise require the roof-top appliance to be located in a service room that is separated from the remainder of the building by a fire separation, on the basis of a relatively low likelihood of fire spreading from a roof-top appliance into the building.
