Application | Application 1: Separation, with respect to the type of construction,
of combustible sprinkler piping from the area
served by the sprinkler system and from any other fire
compartment. This applies to wet systems in residential occupancies or other light hazard occupancies, in buildings described
in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A in which automatic sprinkler systems
are installed.
Application 2: This also applies to buildings to
which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application
of Part 9] in which automatic sprinkler systems are installed, as stated in Sentence 9.10.1.2.(8).
