Intent | Intent 1: To supersede the permission in Sentence 3.3.1.9.(7),
which would otherwise allow dead-end corridors up to a certain length, on
the basis that additional safety measures are required in this type of occupancy.
This is to limit the probability that persons will become delayed
or trapped in a dead-end portion of a corridor in an emergency situation,
which could lead to delays in the evacuation or movement of persons to a safe
place, which could lead to harm to persons.
