Intent | Intent 1: To limit the probability that the ground conditions below
any proposed building will not be taken into account in the design and construction
of the excavation and foundation system, which could lead to excessive displacement
of the ground or collapse of the excavation, which could lead to damage to
adjacent buildings. Intent 2: To facilitate, through qualification of persons involved
with the investigation, the determination of compliance with this requirement.
