Intent | Intent 1: To limit the probability that an installed deep foundation
unit, with deviations in alignment and location outside those assumed for
its design, will not have sufficient capacity to resist the maximum expected
loads, which could lead to structural failure, which could lead to harm to
persons. Intent 2: To direct Code users to the requirement of Article 2.2.4.7. of Division C concerning the recording of alterations on the design drawings.
