Exceptions: 
except for exits that serve only one dwelling unit, as stated in Sentence 9.9.10.1.(1).

Intent
Intent 1: 
To limit the probability that persons with a visual impairment [or disability] using exits will not be familiar with assigned floor numbers, which could lead to the persons not being able to circulate within a building without the assistance of another person.
