Application
Application 1: 
Minor combustible components used in the construction of buildings or parts of buildings to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of Part 9] required to be of noncombustible construction.

Intent
Intent 1: 
To expand the application of Subsection 3.1.5. to Part 9 buildings.
Intent 2: 
To define what constitutes noncombustible construction and to describe the construction materials that shall be used in order to limit the probability that they will contribute to the growth and spread of fire.
