| Application | Application 1: Combustible water distribution
piping that has an outside diameter not more than 30 mm partly
or wholly penetrating a vertical fire separation that
is required to have a fire-resistance rating,
where such piping is sealed in conformance with Clause 3.1.9.1.(1)(b).
This applies to buildings to which Part
9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of
Part 9].
