Application | Application 1: Test method and pressure differential for determining
the F rating referred to in Sentence 9.10.9.7.(2). This
applies to fire stop systems sealing combustible drain,
waste and vent piping that penetrates fire separations required
to have a fire-resistance rating or membranes
that form part of an assembly required to have a fire-resistance
rating, where the piping is not located in a vertical shaft, in buildings to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of Part 9].
Application 2: This also applies to combustible piping
for central vacuum systems, as stated in Sentence 9.10.9.6.(9).
