| Application | Application 1: Combustible drain, waste
and vent piping located on one side of a vertical fire
separation, where the piping is not located in a vertical shaft.
This applies to buildings to which Part
9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of
Part 9].
Application 2: This also applies to combustible piping
for central vacuum systems, as stated in Sentence 9.10.9.6.(9).
