Intent | Intent 1: To exempt certain mezzanines from the requirements of Sentence 9.10.12.1.(1), which would otherwise require mezzanines to terminate
at vertical fire separations, on the basis that the mezzanine area is limited
in size and sufficiently open to allow occupants to detect a threat to their
safety and not be excessively delayed in reaching an exit. |
