Intent | Intent 1: To limit the probability that the occupants of sleeping
rooms [in buildings that are sufficiently large that a smoke alarm in a sleeping
room might not be audible to occupants in all other sleeping rooms] will not
be promptly notified of a fire in another part of the building, which could
lead to delays in the evacuation or movement of persons to a safe place, which
could lead to harm to persons. |
