Application 1: 
Minimum size of, and water supply for, hoses referred to in Sentence 9.10.21.9.(1).
This applies to construction camps to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of Part 9] that provide sleeping accommodation for more than 30 persons.

Intent
Intent 1: 
To limit the probability that the water supply to floor areas for firefighting will be inadequate, which could lead to emergency response operations being ineffective, which could lead to fire not being controlled or suppressed, which could lead to the spread of fire, which could lead to damage to the building.
Intent 2: 
To supersede the reference to Part 3 in Sentence 9.10.1.2.(8) in cases of conflict.
