Application | Application 1: Design of concrete footings for foundations for buildings to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of Part 9], where the specified live
load on any floor supported by the footings exceeds 2.4 kPa,
the foundations are not subject to surcharge, and:
Exceptions:
except as stated in Sentence 9.15.1.2.(1), which applies to foundations and footings for buildings erected
on permafrost.
