Application | Application 1: Dimensions and tying of reduced sections of solid
concrete and unit masonry foundation walls that
are installed on soils having an allowable bearing
pressure of 75 kPa or greater, where the tops of the walls are
reduced in thickness to permit the installation of a masonry exterior facing,
for buildings of wood-frame or masonry construction
to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application
of Part 9].
