Intent | Intent 1: For floor assemblies, to limit the probability of material
incompatibility or a high rate of deterioration under expected environmental
or structural loads, which could lead to the premature failure of building
components. This is to limit the probability of excessive
deflection, movement or vibration of floor assemblies, which could lead to
negative effects on the psychological well-being of persons.
