Intent
Intent 1:
To limit the probability that exhaust ducts serving rooms containing water closets, urinals, basins, showers or slop sinks that exhaust through an enclosed storage garage will lead to the transfer of exhaust air containing moisture or odour-carrying bacteria to other parts of the building, which could lead to negative effects on the air quality of indoor spaces, which could lead to harm to persons.
