Application
Application 1: 
Light constructions where wall, floor and roof systems comprise lumber frames of small repetitive structural members or other engineered systems, in buildings to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of Part 9], and where:
  • roof and wall planes are clad, sheathed or braced on at least one side,
  • the small repetitive structural members are spaced not more than 600 mm o.c.,
  • constructions do not resist horizontal loads imposed by soil,
  • the specified live load on supported subfloors and floor framing does not exceed 2.4 kPa, and
  • the span of any structural member does not exceed 12.20 m.
