| Application | Application 1: Minimum thickness and material for subfloors supporting
panel-type underlay or concrete topping, where joist spacing is 400
mm o.c. or less, in wood-frame constructions to which Section 9.23. applies
[see Sentence 9.23.1.1.(1) for application of Section 9.23.].
Exceptions:
except as stated in Sentence 9.30.2.2.(2), which applies to
panel-type underlay where the floor finish is glued ceramic tile.
