Intent
Intent 1:
To exempt certain installations from the requirement to install a supplemental exhaust fan in the kitchen as stated in Sentence 9.32.3.7.(1), on the basis that the principal ventilation fan's single exhaust air intake, which is located in the kitchen, is likely to extract sufficient air from the kitchen to adequately remove vapours and pollutants produced by cooking.
