on a roof or other building surface whose position,
shape and deflection under rain load make such an accumulation possible.

Intent | Intent 1: To exempt from the load combinations the consideration of
rain load specified in Article 4.1.6.4. as acting in conjunction
with the snow load specified in Article 4.1.6.2., on the basis that
the specified snow load determined in Article 4.1.6.2. includes
the maximum expected rain in snow [see Sentence 4.1.6.2.(1)].
