Intent | Intent 1: To supersede the requirements of Clause 2.7.1.5.(1)(a) regarding
the minimum width of aisles between rows of seats if alignment of seats is
assured by the tables. This is to limit the probability
of delays in evacuation or movement to a safe place in an emergency, which
could lead to harm to persons.
Intent 2: To waive the requirements of Clause 2.7.1.5.(1)(b) regarding
fastening of seats if alignment of seats is assured by the tables.
