Application
Application 1: 
This applies to buildings or parts of buildings used for the short- or long-term storage of dangerous goods in packages or containers when stored in single fire compartments in quantities greater than those shown in Table 3.2.7.1., whether raw or waste materials, goods in process, or finished goods.
Exceptions: 
except as exempted in Sentences 4.1.1.1.(2) and (3), which apply to unique hazards at process plants, in transportation, for oil burning equipment, on farms and isolated construction projects, and the storage of aerosol products.

Intent
Intent 1: 
To clarify the application of Part 4 which, in cases of conflict, supersedes the conditions established in Sentence 3.2.7.5.(1).
