Application 1: 
Natural gas, propane and fuel oil supplies for heating equipment and internal combustion engines, at construction or demolition sites.
This applies to buildings or parts of buildings undergoing construction, alteration or demolition, including any incomplete or abandoned buildings.
Exceptions: 
except as stated in Sentence 5.6.1.1.(2), which applies to construction or demolition activities involving buildings that:
  • do not pose an exposure hazard to other buildings, or
  • pose a minimal fire hazard to occupants.

Intent
Intent 1: 
To limit the probability of the unwanted release of fuel, which could accumulate in ignitable concentrations, which could lead to a fire or explosion, which could lead to harm to persons.
