Intent 1:

To limit the probability that the installation of heating equipment will fall significantly below expectations, which could lead to:

• the inadequate performance or failure of components,
• fuel or gas leaks, or
• overheating of components.

This is to limit the probability of a fire or explosion, which could lead to harm to persons.
