To supersede the requirements of the standard referenced in Sentences 3.2.5.9.(1) and 3.2.5.10.(4) and not require hose connections for 64 mm diam hose in buildings that are limited in height [and not sprinklered], on the basis that the water supply for such smaller buildings is considered adequate with the provision of 38 mm hose stations [see Sentence 3.2.5.11.(1)].
