To supersede the requirement for a minimum width of 920 mm stated in Sentence 3.8.3.2.(1) and require a greater minimum width, on the basis that water-closet stalls or enclosures in washrooms need to be wider to allow proper usage by persons using a manual wheelchair or other manual mobility assistance device.
