To exempt wall spaces from the application of Sentence 9.10.16.2.(1), which would otherwise require fire blocking, if certain conditions are met, on the basis that the conditions provide an equivalent level of protection and the risk of fire spreading from a concealed wall space to or through another concealed wall space is minimized.
