Sentence 4.1.6.2.(4)

Intent 1:

To supersede the application of Sentence 4.1.6.2.(3) and allow a reduction of the wind exposure factor where site wind conditions reduce the maximum expected accumulation of snow on roofs or other building surfaces subject to snow accumulation from that corresponding to a wind exposure factor of 1.0.

Intent 2:

To modify the application of Sentence 4.1.6.2.(4) and direct the code user to Article 4.1.6.9. for gable roofs and Article 4.1.6.10. for arch roofs, curved roofs and domes, for the applicable wind exposure factor for exposed areas north of the treeline.

Intent 3:

To direct Code users to Article 4.1.6.13. for the specific weight of snow.
