To exempt certain dwelling units with solid-fuel-burning appliances from the requirement to provide makeup air [see Sentences 9.32.3.8.(1) to 9.32.3.8.(5)], in situations where the spillage of combustion products from solid-fuel-burning appliances is the sole likely adverse affect of depressurization and will be detected by the carbon monoxide alarming devices required by Sentence 9.32.3.9.(3) and Article 9.32.3.9.
