To exempt individual storage areas from the application of the height and size requirements stated in Section 3.3. [specifically Sentences 3.3.2.3.(1), 3.3.3.2.(1), 3.3.4.2.(1) and 3.3.4.2.(3)] if certain measures are taken.
This is to limit the probability that a fire involving the stored products will spread to adjacent buildings or facilities, which could lead to damage to adjacent buildings or facilities.
