Application | Application 1: Coat hooks in water-closet stalls or enclosures, in
washrooms required by Article 3.8.2.3. to be barrier-free [washrooms
in a storey to which a barrier-free path
of travel is required in accordance with Article 3.8.2.1.].
Application 2: This also applies to universal toilet rooms provided
primarily for the use of persons of both sexes with physical disabilities,
in lieu of facilities for persons with physical disabilities in washrooms
used by the general public, in existing buildings where alterations are being made, as stated in Sentence 3.8.2.3.(4) and Clause 3.8.3.12.(1)(g). This applies to buildings described
in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A.
