| Application | Application 1: Heat detectors and smoke detectors described in Sentence 9.10.18.3.(2) [heat detectors or smoke detectors in
storage rooms, service rooms, elevator shafts,
chutes, janitors' closets and any other rooms where hazardous substances are
intended to be used or stored], in dwelling units.
This applies to buildings to which Part
9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of
Part 9] where fire alarm systems are required [see Article 9.10.18.2.].
