| Intent | Intent 1: To limit the probability that the performance and physical
properties of steel screws, with respect to withdrawal resistance, pull-through
resistance or shear strength, will fall significantly below expectations,
which could lead to an inability to resist expected lateral and gravity loads.
For assemblies that are required to provide fire resistance, this
is to limit the probability of excessive movement, deformation or failure
under expected loads, which could lead to compromised fire resistance of the
assemblies, which could lead to harm to persons.
